ATTENTION GRADUATE STUDENTS

Apply for the 2021 Eileen Setzler-Hamilton Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding graduate student who currently is enrolled and has displayed a commitment to excellence in their professional endeavors and in public service. The scholarship was created in 2003 to remember Dr. Eileen Setzler-Hamilton, a long-time member of the American Fisheries Society and fourth president (1989) of the Tidewater Chapter. The award carries a $600 cash prize and will be presented to a deserving student at the 35th Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society Tidewater Chapter being held virtually on Thursday, 22 April 2021.

A student doesn’t have to be a chapter member nor ever have attended a chapter meeting to apply. In the case of similarly matched applicants, favor will be given to a chapter member, however.
