Special Presidential Award

Presented by the incoming TAFS president at the annual meeting, this award recognizes individuals for "above-and-beyond" service to the chapter, most often in helping the president-elect with execution of the annual meeting.

Footnote #2: COVID-19 forced cancellation of the 2020 meeting in Virginia. We did some student presentations virtually. An in-person meeting was then hosted in Virginia in 2021. Thus, no awards were conveyed in 2020 except for the Eileen Setzler-Hamilton Memorial Scholarship.
